06The timing of energy use is part of the design
We assess our hot-water storage experience alongside project-specific cold-storage options. Storage type is determined by the load profile, usable temperature range and operating conditions.

Heat pumps and chillers are assessed alongside source conditions and electricity tariffs.
Cost calculations also include storage losses and auxiliary electricity use. A tariff advantage alone does not mean lower energy consumption.
